Snow on top of snow at Mt HuttA further 14 cms of new snow arrived at Mt Hutt this week making skiers and riders almost eat powder as they enjoy ungroomed, untracked ski territory at the high country ski area. Assistant ski area manager James McKenzie says those guests who waited for the road to open were treated to world class powder conditions. "Locals are saying our 257cm base is the best they can remember in over two decades and the regular top-ups we seem to be getting each week are keeping the mountain in pristine condition" Find out more about Mt Hutt and the local ski resort of Methven here.
